Dear Gloria and family,

I feel so fortunate and honored to have been able to have spent some time with your father this past summer. That day as you are already aware Gloria, was a turning point in my life, a day where I was able to learn something from a very special man. Your father's wise words are those that we must all live by. I can only offer today, my heartfelt sympathies. May G-D rest his soul. May the loving memories of your father remain in your hearts forever.

Manny Gotlieb was not only one terrific guy but a true Canadian hero.He helped liberate Holland in WW 11 and I had the honour of meeting him many times over the years to honor his service and sacrifice.

Above all,Manny was a friend of mine.He loved to kibbitz and always had that great warm smile. So devoted to his dear wife and a better father you could not find.

I shall miss him a lot.They do not make men like him anymore.

He always had a smile on his face, a hug for all who knew him and he just beamed whenever he sang. He was just one of the nicest people you would ever meet. We are richer for having known you, Manny.
