Dear Trudy, Donald, and Family,

I am thinking of you at this time, knowing that you are so proud of your mother and grandmother. She was bright and caring, strong yet gentle...a beautiful person. She has been a devoted friend to my mother, Edith Cauthen, for many years. Momma will miss her friend, Margie, so very much.

I am glad that she was part of my life. She always made me feel special and that is because she was special. She will be remembered often and with love,

Carolyn Cauthen Auvil

Dear Trudy and family,

Sorry to hear of your Mother's

death. Mama called me today to let me know. She had a long and fruitful life and had many friends. Living to be 100 is an

accomplishment in itself. I was not able to come to Charleston for her birthday celebration at Cherokee. Please send me your address. Our prayers are with you at this time. Love, Nita and Larry Childers, Mauldin, SC

Mrs. Moore was a fixture at Cherokee Place for many years and I have many fond memories of her during my years growing up at the church. I pray God will grant her family peace and comfort in knowing how many lives she touched over the years.
