Marilyn was a delightful and supportive neighbor whose enthusiasm for life was infectious. I will remember how fondly she would greet my (then) young son when we'd see her on the street or in the grocery store. She always had a positive, cheery perspective and a wry sense of humor. A great woman to emulate!

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. Your Mother always had a smile on her face and you truly felt welcomed into her home. She never seemed frazzled at having all the activity around her. I remember one Thanksgiving Lynne insisted I join the family for dinner, as I wasn't able to be with my family for some reason? At any rate, one of the boys had loosened the top of the salt shaker and I poured a mound of it onto my plate ... to their absolute delight! Your Mother quickly gave me another plate apologizing for the prank and glowering at the boys, who quickly straightened up. Guess that was my initiation into dinner pranks but she never lost her cool, just handled the situation with a sargeant's precision. I know you will miss her very much and hope your beautiful memories will sustain you all.
