Galina Epelman
October 24, 2020
My name is Galina Epelman and I was Mark’s piano instructor for seven years. He took lessons at Community Music Division of Old Dominion University. He was an excellent student and he told me that it was the most important activity in his life after his love for physics. He told me he practiced his piano every day and participated in recitals in my home and at ODU. He enjoyed performing at the gatherings in my home with other adult students. Consequently we became good friends and we talked about children, family, politics and Russia. I miss him very much, he is a big loss for me and I cannot imagine what a big loss he is to his family. My love to all of you.

A fellow ODU physics student bud of mine told me of Dr. Havey's passing. We studied Einstein's A & B coefficients and atomic transitions way back when. God speed and say hi to Feynman

Mark and his family were next door neighbors growing up. Mark and Keitha were classmates. Mark was pretty quiet and very smart (I did not realize how smart!!!!) He and Keitha were such a sweet couple, truly meant to be together. Haven't had much contact since high school. So glad to know how blessed he was with family. Love you Keitha. Stay strong.
