I had Dr. Zucker for a class in Art History at Syracuse University in 1969. He was a good instructor and I still have the Italian Renaissance art textbook. I always thought he had a certain elegance - typically wore double-breasted suits. I just happened to look him up and found this. I'm sorry I never got to know him better.

Dr. Zucker was my favorite professor in all of my 8 years spent on the LSU campus. Although I never "finished" in art history, he inspired my love for the subject--which continues to be a lifelong passion. He was one of those teachers and mentors who truly taught from the soul.

He was a great art teacher that I was privileged to know for only a short time in the summer of 1990 on a school field trip to Venice, Italy through the UNO-Innsbruck Summer Program. He enriched my view of the world of art and because of him I try to pass this knowledge to my own students to this day. Molto bene Grazie, Mark!
