Martha KAPLAN Obituary
(nee Huber)
On Tuesday, April 22, 2014, Martha Pauline Kaplan of Edmonton, AB, formerly of St. Lina, AB, passed away peacefully at Miller Crossing Care Centre. Martha has celebrated 88 wonderful years of life.
Martha is survived by her children, Martin (Yvette), George (Rosemarie), Thomas (Catherine), Marlene, Albert (Evelyn), John (Rita), Maryann (Dennis), Pauline (Ron) and Donald (Sally); numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Levelda Huber, Margaret Amyotte, and Irene Kaplan. Martha was predeceased by her husband, Micheal Peter Kaplan on November 4, 1996. Also predeceased by grandchildren, great-grandchildren; four brothers; one sister; and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law.
We would like to thank Miller Crossing Care Centre for taking wonderful care of our dear mother.
Prayers Friday, April 25 at 8:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton, AB.
Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, April 26 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Helen Roman Catholic Church, St. Lina, AB. Reverend Dario Abram officiating with interment in the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute, Alberta Cancer Foundation, 11560 University Avenue, Edmonton, AB T6G 1Z2.
