I am saddened to learn of the passing away of Dr. Kerner. I first met in 1978 at the age of 18 while in the emergency room at the Jewish General. At that time I had a dream to join the RCMP and required complex knee surgery. I have just retired after 30 years service with the RCMP and thought of Dr. Kerner's contribution to my life long dream. My deepest condolences to your family. Dr Kerner did make a real differnce in peoples lives.

I first met Dr.Kerner at the age of 24 after an emergency back surgery. He quickly made me smile and realize that I shouldn't be feeling sorry for myself.
I was a patient and a friend of Marty's over the next 25 years, he never failed to make me smile no matter my pain or circumstance.
He no longer sees pain , but I will forever smile when I think of this great man.
He will truly be missed by all those fortunate enough to have known him.
My deepest sympathies for your loss.

Our most tender thoughts go to the family of our friend Dr. Martin Kerner.
A very unique humanitarian, fun-loving, life curious, beyond generous, technology nerd, bon-vivant and deep-thinking person.
To the Doctor, we say Thank You for making a true difference in the life of many generations of the Calouche family. And Dr. Kerner was a truly unique Doctor that understood not only how to heal you, but foremost, how to get you to stay healthy. He would follow up with you and remember you forever.
To the man that was Martin Kerner, the good friend with a constant laugh and happiness about all and everything, this is what I will always remember and keep living with me every day.
To the wonderful husband and father that he was and how loving the whole family was around him and he around them, it was just what life is all about. He was so proud all the time.
In the name of the Calouche Family and all the other families and persons Dr. Kerner touched, he will forever be living in us.
He was a true angel and his spirit remains alive and strong in all of us.
Forever in your debt and thinking of you.

Your friend,
Ray
