BALLWEG, Mary M. age 96, of Huber Heights, passed away Monday, August 4, 2014 at Hearth & Home at Vandalia. Mary was a longtime member of St. Peter Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adrian M; & son-in-law, Jack Williams. Mary is survived by her daughters & sons-in-law, Carol Williams, Jean Ann & Rick McElroy, Anita & Larry Flohre; son & daughter-in-law, Jim & Carol; brother, Eugene & Joan Huecker; grandchildren, Jenny (Dustin) Keiser, Joe Williams, Jackie (John) Thacik, Amy (Steve) Walls, Julie (Kevin) Mahl, Mike (Cheryl) McElroy, Matt (Jenny) McElroy, Angie McElroy, Lisa (Jake) Martin, Brad (Amy) Flohre; 18 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives & friends. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Saturday, August 9, 2014 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 6161 Chambersburg Road with Father Earl Simone celebrant. Interment Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5-8 PM at Marker & Heller Funeral Home, Huber Heights Chapel, 5844 Old Troy Pike. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter Catholic Church in Mary's memory. The family wishes to express special thanks to the staff at Hearth & Home at Vandalia and Acclaim Hospice for the loving care they provided to Mary.

Anita and Family,

I am sorry for your loss. I think about the times our mothers worked on projects for Holy Family and the many fond memories I have of spending time in your home. She was a wonderful lady.

Mike, Cheryl and family, I am so sorry to hear that your Grandma died. Remember that only her body died. Her spirit is still very much alive on the other side. Talk to her. She will be so glad to hear from you. My sympathy to you and your entire family.

Dear Anita and family - please accept my sympathy on the loss of your mother. Whenever I re-live old memories, the hours spent in your home are very prominent. Your mother made it a happy place to visit. How much time did we spend sitting with your mother, watching "Another World"? Again, my sincere sympathy. I know you will all miss her.
