Mary Lou Boyat

Mary Lou Boyat, 71, of Duluth, Minn., died Tuesday, September 23, 2003, in her home in Morgan Park. She was born in Duluth on October 14, 1931, to Joseph and Genevieve Stark. She had graduated from Denfeld High School in 1949. Mary had worked for Pioneer National, Northern City, and First Banks in Duluth until retiring. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Mary Lou enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, reading and following the Twins baseball. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter Lynne Boyat in 1997. She is survived by sons Roddy Boyat and Joseph Boyat, both of St. Louis Park, Minn., Wade (Robin) Boyat of Hermantown, and Mark (Beth) Boyat of Maple Grove, Minn.; a sister, Janice Massena of Duluth; and her grandchildren, Ashley, Casey, Beau Boyat of Hermantown, and Zeke Boyat of Maple Grove, Minn.; and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. VISITATION: 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, with a 7 p.m. Rosary Recitation in the Foley Chapel. Visitation will continue on Friday from 11 a.m. until the Noon Mass of Christian Burial in St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be in Oneota Cemetery.
