I can't believe it's been almost five years since we lost you... I go by the farm and still see you standing there on the porch with your warm smile! I am sure you are up in heaven "running the place". :) Miss you very much!

So many memories…so many Aunt Jo isms… “How Do You do?” Nobody said those words like Aunt Jo.
We have so many memories…she was the most accepting and non-judgmental person I have ever met.
Genuine in everything she said and did, I am grateful that my children are all old enough and each have
their own special memory of Aunt Jo, Josh remembers her love of Hockey and being able to debate her favorite players with him.
Alex will recall a lot of conversations the two of them had, she has a lot of knowledge, he says. Her love of the land and her farm, how she knew every square inch of that turkey farm.
Ryan's memories are of Aunt Jo watching from her sun porch as him and Tyler would be spreading mulch and how he knew something was wrong when the garage door would open and out popped Aunt Jo on her golf cart with her garden hat coming to show the boys what was missed.
Bri was amazed how much independence Aunt Jo always had wanting to do all that she could on her own. I myself, remember one summer she made me dig up some of the bulbs in her bed insisting I have them because they were from my Grandma Glessner and she would've wanted me to have them, they were tall white beautiful flags…I have them in my garden today. She made me laugh the first time she was telling me of her “naked Ladies” in her flower bed, she must've been able to tell by my face I had not heard of them before. I also remember going to market on Saturday mornings and seeing her work and being amazed that she truly was everyone's Aunt Jo. Thank you for setting such a wonderful example of how to treat others.
Till we meet again Aunt Jo…Blessings to you,
Kristi, Dee, Josh, Alex, Ryan and Brianna George

We are so blessed to have had the time with her we did. A few of my favorite memories were Mothers Day Brunch on the farm and of course the time she spent with our family at Myrtle Beach. Always there to enjoy the moment and try new things. She always had a great spirit lived every minute of her life to the fullest! I feel honored to have known her and to have had her in our lives. Until we meet again Aunt Jo. God Bless you.

I will miss Jo. She was a shining example of how to age gracefully. Always keeping in touch with family, welcoming everyone into her home. I'll always fondly remember our family get togethers over the years and how Jo was responsible for keeping us altogether. God bless her as she is now in her heavenly home and someday we'll meet again.

What a wonderful neighbor Jo was. Always happy and ready to greet me with a warm hug. It won't be the same when I go for my walk and don't see her waiting for me on the porch. I will miss her. So will the cats and birds!!
