Mary Verdin Obituary
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. Funeral services will be at noon Monday at the funeral home, with burial in Rogers Cemetery in Houma.
She is survived by her husband, Melvin Verdin; daughters, Mary Hotard, Zelma Verdin, and Dianne Lirette and husband, Lionel Jr.; stepson, McKenzie Maley; stepdaughter, Darlene Cain; sister, JoAnn Lander; brothers, Raymond, Roger, Dodie, and Ray Tomasich; granddaughters, Serenity, Kaleigh, Katie, Skylar, Matilda, and Elizabeth; and grandsons, Josh, Jeseth, Austin, Ethan, and Jeremaih.
She was preceded in death by her father, Warren Tomasich; mother, Zelma Bennett Tomasich; and brothers, Robert, Wayne, and Gary Tomasich.
Samart Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.

Mary, I couldn't see you as often as I would have liked to, but you were always remembered as a sweet and loving person. Some of my best memories were spent with you, Melvin, and the girls. I regret not making a bigger effort to visit more often. A piece of my heart has gone with you. Please keep it safe til we see each other again. I love you. Rest in peace with God.
