MATILDA O'BRIEN Obituary
On February 23, 2020, Matilda ""Til"" O'Brien passed peacefully while surrounded by her family. For 90 years, we have been blessed with her strength, unconditional love, and wisdom. She will be welcomed into heaven by her beloved husband, Robert O'Brien, and son, Bobby O'Brien. She is survived by her two loving daughters, Linda (Bob) Marchione and Carol (Doug) Walter. Also, her sister Elaine (Paul) Buttenfield, and daughter-in-law Audrey O'Brien. She was an amazing grandmother to Kelly (Dave White) O'Brien, Amy (Sean) Hunt, Matthew (Debra) O'Brien, Michael O'Brien, Douglas Walter and Katie Walter. She was a beloved Gigi (great-grandmother) to Benjamin Hunt, Noah Hunt, and Maddie O'Brien; also survived by her sister, Elaine Buttenfield. On Thursday, February 27, 2020, family and friends will be received from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the EDWARD P. KANAI FUNERAL HOME, 500 Greenfield Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15207. On Friday, February 28, 2020, a final blessing will be given at 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home, directly followed by mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Bede Church, 509 S. Dallas Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15208.
