A special thank you to Ms. Williams for giving me my start in school. I was in her first class. Seems like yesterday--she was such a great example to her students. May the Lord continue to bless her.. Jimmy and Cindy Cox

To the family of Mrs. Williams,
I am also a former student of her private pre-K. I have very fond memories of the long, blue, wooden tables and the shady playground. When Mr. Williams passed on, I visited with Mrs. Williams at the funeral home. At that time I was an "undecided" major at Georgia Southern University. During our short conversation, Mrs. Williams suggested that I might decide upon teaching as a career. I politely laughed and assured her that I didn't think that teaching was for me. This is my eleventh year in public education, and I am approximately 1/2 way through my Ed.D in Educational Leadership. Mrs. Williams was often right, always loved and made an impact on more people than she probably ever realized. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Elaine & Brenda - Aunt Bill was a special person who touched our lives. I have great memories of Aunt Bill and my grandmother and now they are together. We wish we could be with you this weekend but we're going out of state tomorrow. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Mrs Williams had a lasting effect on my way of learning in the early 60's. I often revisited her through the years just to experience that warm glow and smile. The Glennville community was truly blessed to have Mrs Williams as an educator for all the youth she instructed.

I was saddened to read of Mrs. Williams passing. I fondly remember attending kindergarten under her guidance in the late 1950's. My love and prayers are extended to her family and friends.

Brenda and Elaine,
I was saddened to hear of 'Miss' Williams's death. She was a wonderful lady and touched so many lives.
May your memories sustain you and God keep you in the palm of his hand until you are all together again.

To the Mattie Lee Paul Williams family: I remember her well. I grew up knowing Bill and her faithfulness to her church and family. I visited her a few years ago and was surprised at how alert and energertic she was at her age. We had a very nice visit reminiscing. She was the same Bill I always knew. May God bless you during this time of grieving. Dolores and Wade Strickland
