Maureen Daphne Ayers

August 16, 1945 - April 25 2018

After a brave 2-year battle with cancer, Maureen passed away-her loving family by her side. Born in New West, she is predeceased by her parents (Jack and Lois Shaw) and sister (Beverley Santo). She is survived by her sister Judy Shaw, her devoted husband of 49 years, Philip Ayers and their children: Kevin Ayers (Margie) and Cynthia Yahn (Chris). She was so special to her 4 grandchildren: Eleda and Luke, Megan and Rebeca who received her tender love and care. She's missed greatly and will be always in our hearts.

It is with great sadness that I write this today. I had the pleasure of getting to know this beautiful human being and was instantly connected to her. Maureen was the sweetest person I have ever met. I used to enjoy making her laugh and seeing her beautiful smile that would always brighten my day. My heart goes out to Phil, her family and all the friends that were blessed to have had her in their lives. I know she made an impact in my life.
