Maureen's kindness will be her legacy. She encouraged so many and bravely faced her own illness. May the many wonderful memories you shared bring you comfort during this time of sorrow. I will miss her smile and friendship.

Maureen will be missed by many. She was so sweet, so funny and left us too soon. She personified the best in all of us at North High School. It seems just yesterday I ran into her at Rockingham mall. God heal and bless her and provide peace to her family.

On behalf of the Sunflower Brigade and Dana-Farber's Sarcoma Support group friends I want to express our sincere sympathy. Our Beautiful Sunflower Friend and Dedicated Volunteer Moderator of the Sarcoma Sunflower Brigade was so positive and brave on her journey! Maureen was always there for so many of us always sharing encouragement and caring support. She was so inspiring to me and many of her friends and family. The Sunflower Brigade also wants to send our deepest sympathy to her devoted husband Philip Gamache and all her family and friends. We surely will miss Maureen's smile and words and posts of encouragement! WE will STAY SUNFLOWER STRONG in her memory!

Phil and Family,
Our sincerest sympathy goes out to you and your family in the loss of a sweet person we are blessed to have known. I was a classmate of hers in North High Class of 78. She will be missed at our 40th Reunion, but everyone will have her on their minds and we will make a special toast to her and the others who have passed on too soon. She will never be forgotten! RIP MAUREEN. Til we meet again♄

A new star in the sky burns bright looking down on those she loves. I was always impressed with her strength, poise and love for family. She will be missed and I feel lucky to have known her.

I will miss our talks my friend..

My fondest memories of Maureen is in high school as we always shared our political and history views of the world. We shared a love of expressing ourselves on our thoughts and ideas. She had the most wonderful smile that lit up a room. She was so positive and kindhearted. We lost touch over the years but recently connected through the North High FB page. Once again we connected our thoughts over politics. ...we shared some laughs over it..and some serious talks. Then she told me she was sick but never once told me how sick. That was Maureen, courageous and thoughtful of others feelings. I was so looking forward to seeing her in Novemeber. I will have to wait my sweet friend. Sleep well. xoxo, Donna Petrone
