Maureen Malinowski

My deepest condolences to your family. Few people in this world can say they knew someone as kind and caring as Maureen. She was an absolute treasure. We worked together at Hollister, and we were on many teams together. Please accept my deepest condolences.

Sincere condolences to Maureen's family and friends. Like many who have commented, I knew Maureen from SLA-IL for many years. She was a terrific person and a boon to the chapter. She will be greatly missed.

My deepest sympathy to the Malinowski family. Maureen was a dedicated library professional and a good friend to many of us in the Chicago area library community. She succeeded me as Treasurer of the Illinois Chapter of SLA and I found her to be a joy to work with. She will be greatly missed.

Dear Dan and family,
We are heartbroken and so sorry for this huge loss. We've never known a better person than Maureen. She was intelligent, warm, caring, giving, loving, and sincere. She always had a smile on her face and had the ability to bring others such joy just by being in their presence. She was our sister, our family, our dear friend. We were blessed to know her since we were young girls in Chicago - she was our Irish sister! We have so many wonderful memories with her. The holidays will never be the same without her, but we know her spirit will remain with us. We have a special guardian angel watching over us, and we are comforted to think of her in the loving arms of her parents and Pearl and Phil. We will miss her so much.

Dear Dan and Family,
Words cannot express the sorrow I am feeling. Maureen was one of my dearest friends. She was such a loving and caring person who will never be forgotten. My deepest sympathy goes out to all of you.

My sincere sympathies go out to Maureen's family. She was such a lovely person and a respected colleague of many of us in the Chicago area library community. She leaves a legacy of kindness and graciousness to all who knew her.

My deepest sympathy to Dan and family. I knew Maureen from Hollister. She and Beth worked with my daughter also when she was a summer intern. Maureen had the most amazing smile and always had time for a quick chat while always walking faster than anyone I have ever known. She loved her family so very much and always spoke about them. I send my deepest sympathy to Dan and family. This is a tremendous loss ... Maureen touched many lives with her beautiful smile and compassionate nature. She was a dear friend, the best buddy in grad school, and absolutely the best co-worker I could have ever imagined. Prayers for all who are in mourning today.

Dan and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Maureen was a kind sweet person. She trained me as the librarian at Hollister. She will truly be missed by many here. May her memory be for a blessing.

To Dan and Family: my sincerest condolences on your loss. I first met Maureen years ago in conjunction with a library function. She was such a joy to be around -- so pleasant to everyone, so fun-loving with a great sense of humor. I am so sad to hear this news -- she will definitely be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. I got to know Maureen years ago when we both served as Treasuer for SLA-IL. It was always pleasure to run into her again at SLA events. She will be missed!

Our heart felt prayers for you and your family, Dan. Maureen was such a kind, sweet person with a contagious smile who always had a positive attitude on many ideas and life. She was very warm and caring and loved showing me pictures of her family each Sunday after mass, especially the grandchildren. Such a pleasure.

I knew Maureen from Hollister. The words that come to mind when I think about Maureen are Sunshine and Energy. She always had a smile on her face. It was a genuine smile of love for everyone she met.
