Dear Derrick, Roger and Jeff

My condolences to you and my farewell to your Dad. I am glad that I had the opportunity to visit him for breakfast last summer -- he served pancakes. I always felt welcomed in your home by your mum and dad. Let's hope that warm spirit of prairie hospitality continues down the generations through their friends, neighbours, and kin. It is something we can share.

Dear Roger, Derrick, Jeff, and family members,

I wish we were able to be with you tomorrow, as you celebrate the life of your Dad, Father-in-law, and Grandfather.

My memories of Mr. Bellows are of a gracious and friendly man, a loving Father and Grandpa.

Our kids sure loved Grandpa Bellows' pickles...and they are fussy pickle eaters!

We remember Mr Bellows as a very generous and giving person. I always appreciated him sharing his heart with us, giving lots of loving attention to our daughters, Krista and Chelsea , when they were little girls in church!

We will miss him too!

We want you to know we are thinking of you and your families tomorrow, and in the days ahead.

With love and prayers from,

Darren & Marianne,

Krista, Chelsea, Kyle & Amy

My heartfelt condolences to the Bellows family, especially to son Jeff. I will never forget you people for bringing Jesus into my own life while you were at the Whitecap First Nation when I was a child.

From the bottom of my heart, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your father, and send my thoughts and prayers to Mike while on his journey to heaven. I will never forget you.

Dear: Roger,Derrick and Jeff:

Sharon and I want to extend our condolences to you and your families on Uncle Mike's passing.

We will keep you in mind on Friday as you celebrate his life. Some of what we are today was the result of his influence on our lives over the years . Although he is gone there are many memories that live on as well as tangible reminders in the many home renovations he undertook. We all celebrate his life for we learned something from him. Much of the carpentry that I learned was a result of what he taught me many years ago. He was a good teacher.

He had a great work ethic and set an example for us to follow.

He was generous and willing to share what he had. Your home was my home over the years that I attended university. I am so thankful for that.

I am so glad I was able to spend some time talking with him at the beginning of April when he came out to the farm while I was there. It is a memory I can hold on to.

Our thoughts and prayers will be with you this week and especially on Friday.

All our Love

David and Sharon
