I was happy and sad to see the picture of Michael on this site. Michael came to visit me in studio. I am so sad for the loss of such a special person and my heart goes out to his family.

I am saddened to learn about the sudden passing of Michael. I met Michael on a couple of occasions and he was outgoing and friendly. I know he will be missed. Sue, my deepest sympathies for you and your family.

Michael and I had many memorable times during his years with Allegra Properties. He was witty, funny and a kind soul. He spoke often of how proud he was of his son James. I will miss him. Michael was a good man.

Rest in peace, Michael. You will be missed. I knew him for a long time because he was my best friends husband for so many years. My late husband and I went on a few trips with Mike and Sue. He was always funny and kind to my children amd grandchildren.

Co Suong and Jimmy. We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Michael. We will always remember him as a funny, warm and gracious host. I have fond memories of visiting your house and getting the "grand tour" from Michael. I know he will be missed by the many people whose life he touched. Mike and I met at Pacific First Bank in Seattle, 27 years ago, in the accounting department, and we stayed in contact over the years. Mike and I shared the same crazy sense of humor. Last time I saw him was at his office in Seattle in 2015. Mike, you will be missed.

I am shocked and saddened by the sudden passing of Mike Chaffey. We used to work at Pacific Fiirst Bank in Seattle in 1990. We last communicated 5 weeks ago, on 10/30/2017 about getting together in the summer of 2018 in Seattle. I really liked him as a friend and we never had any problem. I looked up to Mike as a great Accounting & Finance professional, who was also CPA. Best wishes and prayers for Mike and family. Rest in peace my friend!

Michael was my best friend. I first met Michael when our kids where in kindergarten 20 years ago .He was always generous and kind. Will miss him deeply. Our condolences to Sue and Jimmy.

I lost a close friend this week Michael Chaffey. Are we ever prepared? There are no words to explain the loss and pain I feel at the passing of such a wonderful friend of over 20+ years. Michael and I worked together at several jobs and he was a bright presence every day! Remaining friends with his beautiful wife, Sung and his incredible son, Jimmy, has been and will always be close to my heart and a cherished part of my life! Rest in peace Michael.

Michael will always be remembered as a bright light. He lit up the room when he walked in, engaged with everyone and was always looking to encourage and lift others up.

Michael will be missed by so many. I'm glad to have had the chance to meet him and chat. Praying for his family and friends. Rest in Peace dear Michael.

To Michael's family and friends, I am so sorry for the loss of Michael. He will truly be missed as one of the "good guys". He had a fabulous sense of humor and was generous with his time to discuss all things accounting. He spent time with me at the Redmond Library not too long ago, working on some accounting questions I had in relation to my business. We had a great time talking about accounting and life, in general.

The heavens are rejoicing as we, here on earth, are sad.
