Michael Whitehead Obituary
Mike was the owner and operator of Whitehead Construction up until his illness in 2000. He loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed going hunting, fishing, and raising his beef cattle.
Mike is survived by his wife, Linda Norton Whitehead; daughter, Casey (Chris) Busbin; sister, Pam Clark; nephew, Chris (Megan) Clark; Mother-in-law, Agnes Norton, and many other friends and family.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Salem Baptist Church, at 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
Pallbearers include: Bret Fowler, Bobby Joiner, Nathan Murphy, Greg Thompson, Eugene Day, and Roger North. Honorary pallbearers will be; Don Andrews, Jim Murphy, Tommy Tweedell, Chris Busbin, Chris Clark, Chance Fowler, Nick Cardin, Jim Jones, and John Kennedy.
Donations may be made in Mike's name to either Oglethorpe County FFA or to the Atlanta Cancer Care Foundation.
Lord and Stephens, East is in charge of arrangements.

To Pam and Family,
I am very sorry to hear of Micheal's passing. He struggled and fought to the end. He will be missed by many, but know that he is at rest and in the Lord's loving arms.
