Millicent M. Franck

MILLINOCKET - Millicent M. (Cousins) Franck, 54, passed away after a brief illness on October 28, 2014, at Millinocket Regional Hospital. Millicent was born on December 10, 1959, in Portland, Maine, the daughter of Ralph and Dora Cousins.

She was a graduate of Stearns High School, class of 1978, where she was a member of the Pink Panthers Drill Team as a

rifle bearer. She continued her education attending Beal College in Bangor, where she graduated with an associate degree in business administration and went on to work for more than 20 years in the banking industry.

Millicent is survived by her father, Ralph M. Cousins of Millinocket; her brother, Louis L. Cousins of Farmington and

family; her daughter, Katherine A. Franck of Portland and her son, Michael S. Franck, of Winooski, Vermont. She was predeceased by her mother, Dora K. Cousins; her paternal grandparents, Louis and Mildred Cousins; and her maternal grandparents, Leo and Alice Cowette.

Millicent grew up spending her summers at her family's camp on Smith Pond Lake, where she spent time fishing, swimming and boating. She took great pride in attending her children's sporting and music events, and enjoyed time with her family on camping trips.

Graveside services will be held in the springtime at the Millinocket Cemetery. Gifts in memory of Millicent may be sent to the Katahdin Area Support Group, P.O.
