Mr. Goemanne will be remembered here at St. Luke's for one of his shortest works - A "Great Amen" setting we still use regularly to this day. May he rest in peace, and his memory be eternal.

The Cathedral Choir of Hasselt (Belgium) and their choirmaster Ludo Claesen offer their sincere condolences to Noel's wife, his children and grandchildren. The choir performed several of Goemanne's works. some of them European firsts, e.g. The Walk. In remembrance of Noel Goemanne the choir wil on Easter Day April 4 2010 perform his Missa Millenium, which was specially composed for the choir and its conductor, Noel's friend Ludo Claesen.

My heartfelt sympathies for Jannine, Claire, Luc and their families.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
