Add memories that will last forever

Not sure what to say?

October 27, 2013

I want to honor my memory of Great Aunt Norma Lee, with a short note to her loved ones. I have many memories while growing up & early in my marriage of happy, laughing visits with her(mostly at her home in Garland). The photo gallery on this site was so wonderful! She always had a smile on her face & a twinkle in her eye. Each time we saw her, it was as if no time had passed at all! She was so thoughtful, & for years we exchanged Christmas cards.... I know I stopped sending any, way before she did! My condolences to each of you, who share the sadness at her passing. She was a lovely woman. May our God give you comfort, Hugs to you all, Tracy Traveland Mann

Grandma, you are so very loved and you gave so much love. I will always hold with me how you always supported me in everything I have done. I can still hear the excitement in your voice as I introduced you to my future wife, told you about my first child and introduced you to each of my children. Thank you for always being a positive voice that would confirm the decisions I was making. Your love was boundless for me and for that I will always be indebted to you. Until we meet again, I will be counting on your to continue to watch over me and guide me as I go. Save a spot on your dance card for me when I get there. I love you!

It has been quite some time since we had a chance to visit in person with Norma, but we always did enjoy any time spent with her and keeping up with her through Alphie's Christmas epistles. She was just a really genuine and lovely person and someone we will never forget. I'm sure you will miss her dearly. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you.

It was an immense honor for my family and I to know Norma. She was one of the finest ladies, I have ever had the good fortune to meet. I will remember with great fondness the times Alphie was, well being Alphie and how she would get just a little embarassed and then laugh. She had the gift of making you feel welcome. She now makes Heaven a little brighter. So long Norma,it was our honor and fortune to know you.

I am so sorry about your mothers passing. I cherish so many memories and special times she and I shared especially after she moved to Kingwood and finally to Grace Care Center. I loved her dearly and she will always hold a special place in my heart. How Blessed and proud I was to have a wonderful mother-in-law!

Mama, I will always cherish the last minutes my children and I spent with you. You were in no pain and seemed like you had no worries. You spoke to us and knew that we were there. As always, the kids were kidding around with you and made you smile. You did not suffer at all and that had always bee my wish for you. We will miss you but I know you are in heaven with our other family members. I can just see you smiling down on us holding Dusty. You were deeply loved and will be greatly missed! Love, Betty, Kevin, Ryan and Megan Griffith

Mom,
You're the Greatest.
I was proud to be your son.
Tell all of the family in heaven hello for me! Remember, Tex is really not deaf in his right ear!
