Hope it helps to know that God is holding your devoted loved one in His arms and holding you in His heart.
I will never forget that beautiful smile she gave my parents, Arthur & Camilla O. Brown, when she welcomed them into First Christian Church in 1964. From that time forward, they became wonderful friends.

Losing a loved one is never easy, but our loving god promises to give the strength and courage you'll need to endure, and to cope with the pain of your loss. He also promises to hold your hand every step of the way. (Isaiah 40:29, 41:10, 13)

It was my honor to know her for more than 45 years; first as Mrs. Rainey, then as Mama, and as Grandma. I knew her as a devoted Wife, a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She always had a sweet welcoming twinkle in her eye that made you feel warm and comfortable in her presence. I will miss her sweet smile, I loved her as if she was my own Mama. Tonya - thank you so much for sharing her with me.
