Pamela Picard Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Jan. 16 to Jan. 22, 2023.
Pamela was truly happy when she was lost in a tragic car accident visiting her son, and family, in the Northern European country of Estonia. All the stars, and wonders of the sky will never be enough of a measure of how she loved her two boys: Carl, and Christopher and her grandchildren Cosette, and Dorian. Pamela dedicated her career to propelling women, and the disadvantaged, further in America and globally. Along with volunteering with animal shelters, and Afghan and Ukrainian refugees, she served in the leadership of national professional development organisations SHRM, and CUPA. A lifetime explorer, Pamela was a former resident of many states, and was living in Charlottesville, VA. To honor her memory give an extra pile of kisses to those you love, and never hesitate. She was the one to dance each moment, add all the extra wood to the fire, serve all the best snacks, and love on her family with all her soul. Pamela lived at the fireworks centre, one we are all still in awe of.

We miss you here at work at UVA Radiology. Your guidance and advocacy as our human resource business partner is greatly missed. We miss meeting with you and the support that you provided at our annual retreat. I remember that you were so happy to visit your family in Estonia and spoke lovingly of your children and grandchildren.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Pamela provided support to Radiology, and she was making a real difference in the way we supported human resources. She will be missed!

This is such a wonderful inspiring contribute to Pam. I only knew her for a short time but she touched my heart and soul.
