Patricia Ann "Patty" Watson

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Watson, affectionately known as Patty, on December 15, 2022, in Abington, PA. She was born on July 11, 1945, in Shamokin, PA, to Leslie and Ramona (Barnes) Kirk. Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Leslie Kirk, her mother, Ramona Kirk, and her brother, Vincent Kirk.

Patty will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 57 years, Lynn E, and their children Tracy (Dennis) Cronin, Victoria Watson, and Eric (Michele) Watson. She was a cherished sister to Robert (Karen) Kirk and Leslie Kirk, and a beloved sister to Ramona (Carmen) DiCinque. Patty also held a special place in the hearts of her grandchildren, Matthew Cronin, Nicholas Cronin, Aidan Watson, Mia Watson, Rowan Watson, and Madeline Shiposki.

Patty received her education at St. Helena Catholic School and later graduated from Plymouth Whitemarsh High School. She went on to have a successful career, working diligently at Atlantic Thrift Center, Allenwood Steel, Pat's Candies, and US Healthcare.

Beyond her professional achievements, Patty had a heart full of compassion and a desire to make a difference. She dedicated her time to volunteer work at Manatawny Manor, spreading kindness and warmth to those in need. Patty also found solace in the simple pleasures of life, finding joy in the pages of a good book and the refreshing embrace of a swimming pool, joyous days of shopping with her husband, and quiet afternoons of doing puzzles. Patty also loved to tell jokes and make people smile. Her greatest source of happiness, however, was undoubtedly found in the love and laughter shared with her cherished grandchildren.

Patty's presence will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to others will continue to inspire and guide us.

May she rest in eternal peace, forever held in our hearts and memories.
