Paul Edmondson Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 26, 2023.
August 1, 1957 - December 17, 2022 Paul Anthony Edmondson, 65, went peacefully to be with our Lord on December 17, 2022, in Orange, CA. He was born to Lindy and Elsie (Heaps) Edmondson on August 1, 1957, and was the middle of the three sons. He is survived by his 2 brothers Phil Edmondson (Laura), and Mike Edmondson, and his son Wyatt Ray Edmondson. He loved sports and played baseball and golf for La Mirada High. He went on to excel in slow pitch softball (won multiple state championships) and eventually played in the A-Open World Series. He competed in darts and pool at the state level. He became a union carpenter which led to a productive 48-year career in construction, finish carpentry, fine woodworking & cabinetry. He was a 'Master' craftsman. He loved to be outdoors, camping, rock climbing, hiking, and fishing. He grew up family vacationing for 6 years in Yosemite, CA, and 6 years at Lake Mead, Arizona. Expert water skier, outdoorsman, and adventurous brother, he sat around many evening campfires. He was a dedicated son, a caring father, a loyal brother, a loving uncle, and a compassionate and easygoing friend. He will live forever in our hearts and memories. Memorial Services will be held on April 15, 2023, at Taft Avenue Community Church in Orange, CA.

So many memories I was his partner in darts, and we would go to different bars for tournaments to play cricket. and I honestly don't believe we ever lost a game Paul was excellent at everything he did. I would go with him on his jobs when he was doing construction in Coto de Coza he was amazing to watch his work and how he would be such a perfectionist. all the other construction guys on the job would just watch him in amazement he never would lose that pencil he kept behind his ear too smile and softball we played together on several teams and never failed if we needed a home Run, he was going to give us a home run to win. And Paul was one of those people who got along with all walks of life I know he's up in heaven right now telling some good jokes and making everyone laugh and have a good time that I know for sure.
I will miss him so
Love you Paul
