Mr. Quigley passed away on August 20, 2022. The cause of death was sepsis. He is survived by his two children, Michael (Ann) and Maureen (Patrick). He is also survived by a brother, Peter, and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Quigley was predeceased by a brother, Daniel and a sister, Maria Honza. Mr. Quigley was born in Brooklyn, NY, and after graduating high school he served in the US Army Medical Corps during the Korean War. He was trained as a nurse and assigned to a US military hospital in Osaka, Japan where the seriously wounded were transferred from the battlefields of Korea. After his military service, Mr. Quigley began a career in the automobile insurance industry spanning over forty years. Paul was known for his love of sports, movies (especially westerns), and jazz. He was spiritually devoted to the Blessed Virgin Mary and Saint Jude Thaddeus. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A Mass of Christian Burial took place on August 24 at St. Mary's RC Church in East Islip, NY. Interment took place the same day at Calverton National Cemetery. The family would like to extend special thanks to the MICU team at LIJ in New Hyde Park, especially Doctors Giammarino and Goldstein, for their sincere caring and kindness to Paul and his family. +Requiescat In Pace+
