Peter KUSHNER Obituary
With saddened hearts we announce the passing of Peter Kushner, husband, father, brother, and gido at the age of 89 years on May 14, 2017.
Peter will be lovingly remembered by his son, Jerry (Kathy) Kushner; daughters, Shelley (Chris) Samycia and Pat (Al) Coons; three grandchildren, Laura (Christian) Koller, Emily and Scott Coons; brother, Nick (Frankie) Kushner; sister, Sylvia Wenzel; along with friends and relatives. Predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Nellie; brother, Larry; and parents, Mike and Anny Kushner.
We are grateful for the loving care Peter received these past years from the caregivers at the Devonshire Extended Care Centre. Thank you.
Funeral Rite Friday, May 19 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 9831 – 75 Street, Edmonton. Reverend Father Yuriy Suchevan officiating with interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, NWT and Nunavut, Suite 144, 5241 Calgary Trail NW, Edmonton, AB T6H 5G8.
