Please accept my heartfelt condolences and my apologies for being unable to attend the wake as I am presently assigned in New York City. Peter was an icon in North Country law enforcement. He was one of the first people to befriend me when I was assigned to Ray Brook and I will never forget his ability to guide young Troopers.

To the Zelinski Family: I knew Peter through the years of growing up in E'town when the station was next to the Cobble Hill Inn and later at the Westport exit. Later I crossed paths with Peter when I was with the Clinton County Sheriff's Department. He was always a professional and had many stories of the old times. He will be sorely missed. God Bless.

I had the pleasure of working with Me. Zelizski when he was the Under Sherrif for Essex County. I always admired Peters Honesty and fairness, both with the employees and also the taxpayers. He has had a outstanding career in Law Enforcement, and because of his presence I am certain that many people today are better off for his being involved. My heartfelt Condolences to his family.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time. My fond memories, and stories, of "Pete" ,
were of his professionalism, and compassion for people. He was my mentor. Connie, and I will miss him.
