Loving daughter, mother, and friend left her earthly body on September 4, 2014.
Phoenix started her life facing major obstacles. She was free spirited; determined to succeed no matter what was thrown her way. Her determination was evident as she fought long and hard during the last days of her life.
Phoenix had an infectious personality; everyone flocked to her. Once a friend, you were a friend for life. Her friendships (friends) helped her get through the many difficult times in her life.
Phoenix's proudest achievement was her son Austin. The bond between them was unbreakable. The hardest decision she ever made was giving her son to Mike and Lori Wall, who are providing him a wonderful home and life.
Phoenix is survived by her mother Leslie Dumas, husband Jason Holt (later divorced), son Austin Wall and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and wonderful friends.
Thanks to the wonderful staff and the many friends she made at Avalon Valley Care Center. You all made the last years of her life comfortable and bearable.
Funeral services will be held September 8, 2014 at 7 p.m. at the Peel Funeral Home in Magna, Utah (8525 W. 2700 So.) with a viewing from 5-7 p.m. Family are invited to a private viewing from 4-5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to the Phoenix Ray Donation Account at any Zion Bank.

Phoenix was a wonderful person. Her heart was always in the right place and at the right time. Phoenix was always an uplifting person. When I heard that she had died I wanted to shut down. I am so very sorry to hear about Phoenix. Phoenix was my student in elementary school. She was a delightful and determined child. As I watched her grow through the years and graduate, she held on to that determination. I'm sure she was a loving mother. Leslie, my thoughts are with you.

Phoenix was always a very uplifting person. I never saw her without a smile. I was sad when I heard that she passed. Best wishes to her family.

So saddened to hear of the passing of Phoenix. I remember her fondly at Butler Elementary. She was such a kind and funny young lady. I'm sure she was a wonderful mom. She and her family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Bless you Phoenix and rest in peace.
