Dear Dorothy and Children:
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on the loss of a wonderful gentleman. Ralph was a veteran, experienced lawyer at the Attorney General's office when I first met him in 1975. Although I was just a young intern, he was always free with his time and valued insights. Occasionally, I would encounter him at Torrington high school football games or in court - and touch base. He leaves a remarkable legacy of service to his family, community, church and nation.
Ralph Murphy epitomized the Greatest Generation. I am fortunate our paths crossed.
Sincerely,

Jane Putnam
