RAYMOND E. KNIGHT

RAYMOND E. KNIGHT, 83, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Madison Park Healthcare, Huntington, W.Va. He was born October 28, 1934, in Huntington, W.Va., the son of the late Asa and Nellie Gray Knight. He was a retired Engineering Technician of 36 years of service from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, a member of Community of Grace United Methodist Church and a graduate of Huntington East High School. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joyce Cooper Knight of Huntington, W.Va.; two sons, Brian (Susan) Knight of Gainesville, Va., and Greg (Cherlye) Knight of Huntington, W.Va., and one daughter, Kim (Mickey) Bane of Fort Oglethorpe, Ga.; sister, Gladys Spurlock of Huntington, W.Va.; and six grandchildren, Cooper Knight, Brooks Knight, Cheyenne (Alex) Phelan, Nic Bane, Jayden Bane and Brandon Knight. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 21, 2018, at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary, East Pea Ridge Road, Barboursville, W.Va., with Mickey Bane officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, W.Va. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2018, and an hour before services on Friday at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary, East Pea Ridge Road, Barboursville, W.Va.
