Ray, you led a sterling life, always a steady and loving guide through everything that life had to offer.I will always cherish the hours spent playing, or watching and commentating on, golf, cricket and footy - go Cats! Ray, you have earned your rest, go peacefully into the light.

Dad, how lucky we were to have our gentle, involved and funny Dad for so long. It's time to put away the car wash kit, put the lid on the shoe polish and store your golf clubs away. You only ever worked to make us all comfortable, so now it is time to take a well-deserved rest and reap the rewards of your good life. Thank you for everything, already missed.
