To the family of Mr. Doug,

Hello, my name is Bethany Black. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Doug in the last few months of his life as I was assigned to be his hospice visitor volunteer. I have very fond memories of Mr. Doug as he always made laugh very much. The last time I saw him was on Sunday December 8th. On that day, he spoke much of his beloved wife. He shared with me how wonderful she was and how much he loved her. When I heard the news that he had passed, a part of me rejoiced in the knowing that he was now once again reunited with her. I personally feel that him sharing with me his feelings for his wife so shortly before he died, was telling of that he was ready to join her in their eternal home. My deepest sympathies go out to your family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Mr. Doug will always have a special place in my heart. The time I was afforded with him was a blessing. May God bless all of you.
