Richard Daigle Obituary
Richard had worked for the Bangor and Aroostook Railroad for 38 years as a Heavy Equipment Operator. His favorite hobbies were hunting, fishing and also doing carpentry work. He also enjoyed raising Red Fallow deer on his deer farm for a few years. Richard also loved antique cars, doing a lot of mechanic work in his spare time.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Yvette (Potvin) Daigle of Wallagrass; his mother, Bernadette Daigle; nine children, Claire L'Italian, Louise Nadeau, Theresa Dereszewski, Diane Madelung, Richard Daigle Jr., Jenny Soucy, Elaine Daigle, Tammy Daigle, and Sally Hebert; two brothers, Reynold and Lester; three sisters, Pauline, Betty, and Carlene; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by one grandson, Justin Daigle.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, and 10-11:30 a.m. Friday, at Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated noon Friday, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Wallagrass. Spring burial will be held May 8, at the parish cemetery.

TO RICHARDS FAMILY FRIENDS:SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT R.E.DAIGLES POOR HEALTH AND PASSING.WHAT A NICE MAN IS WHAT I REMEMBER KNOWING HIM ON THE BANGOR AND AROOSTOOK RAILROAD.WISHED YOU AND ALOT OF OTHER GUYS COULD HAVE LIVED TO 100! IN GOOD HEALTH. My deepiest sympathies in the passing of Mr.Daigle. I will miss seeing him at the grocery store shopping with Mrs.Yvette or sitting in his car waiting for her.I always chatted with him before going in the store or coming out.He always had a warm smile an a hug to give.I enjoyed Mr.Daigle and definetly,will miss him.A special angel has entered the gates of heaven rest in peace my friend!!!!!!!!!!!
