Passed away peacefully, Friday 9 June 2017, aged 93 years, surrounded by family.
Brother of John (dec) and David. Brother-in law of Elizabeth. Loving father of Hilary, Rex, Barb, Michael (dec) and Jen. Loving stepfather of Kym and Damien and loving father-in-law of Geoffrey, John, Vicki, Melissa, Jim and Hege.
Loving grandfather to Cate, Stephanie, Wiliam, Julia, Emma, Zoe, Lucas, Julian, Phoebe, Caleb, Oliver and Jemima.
Loving great-grandfather to Cassius, Veryan, Ellery, Nikita, Saskia and Hunter.
Family, friends and colleagues are warmly invited to attend Dick's Funeral Service to be held on Thursday 15 June 2017, in the Camellia Chapel, Macquarie Park Crematorium, corner of Delhi and Plassey Roads, North Ryde, commencing at 12.30pm.

I'm sorry I have only just found out that Dick has left us. We knew each other well in the 1970s, and even went to a Cleo Laine concert one night, where Dick introduced me to Arch McCurdy, host of the ABC's late night jazz program. I did go to Michael's funeral. We lost touch, Dick and I, and I'm sorry about that too. At some stage I did meet Rex -Dick sent him to my place in Glebe, though can't recall why. Belatedly I send condolences to you who are Dick's kids. He was a beaut bloke
