Richard John "Hutch" Hutchinson

Richard John Hutchinson "Hutch", 80, of Lecanto, Florida, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness. Hutch was born in Buffalo, New York on October 20, 1937, to the late William J. and Francis (Donohue) Hutchinson. He came to Citrus County in 2000 from Hilton Head, SC. Hutch was a retired tool & dye maker for the Ford Motor Company in Hamburg, NY.
Hutch enjoyed boating, swimming and skiing both in snow and water, but his true passion and love was the game of golf. He played every day but Sunday, when he enjoyed watching it on TV. He was a long time member of Cazenovia, Bridgewater, Oyster Reef and 7 Rivers Golf Clubs.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 48 years, Theresa Hutchinson; sons: Richard J. Hutchinson, Jr. of Buffalo, NY, David J. Hutchinson of Hernando, FL, Paul F. Hutchinson of Marilla, NY, Timothy J. Hutchinson of Westminster, CO; daughters: Teriann Brennan of Lackawanna, NY, Rebecca Corte of Cohutta, GA; brother, William Hutchinson of Lancaster, NY; sister, Diane Kerner of West Seneca, NY; grandchildren: Angela, Rachel, Heather, Paul, Janaya, Joshua, Matthew, Andrew, Shaelyn, Mia, and Samantha.; 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Suzanne Salcedo.
Private cremation with care is under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
