How it saddened and shocked me to read of Robbie's passing! In a nearly 35-year teaching career, I can still remember that enthusiastic young ginger in my 7th-grade history class at Folsom Middle School whom I can honestly list as one of the 5 kids who touched my heart along the way. I am sure that most teachers Robbie had could say the same thing. Robbie was so incredibly gifted in so many ways, and I knew even then that the sky would be the limit for this kid! In reading about all he accomplished I am not a bit surprised. The quality that stood out the most for me was his heart for people, whether it was his family, his friends, or just about anybody who crossed his path. He was truly a special person, and I will take to heart the challenge to "be like Robbie!" We all should...

I am truly sorry for your loss. Robert seems like he was a good man with great ambitions who went too soon. I´m sure his memory will always be treasured by those he loved. May you find comfort in God´s promise that you can see him again. He even says that "[He] will long for the work of [his] hands." He longs to bring Robert back to life and to you.
