Jim, Carol, and Family,
My family was honored to have Bob as a friend and lawyer. He gave far more than he took, and we are grateful to have known him.

Betsy, Barney, and Jim,
I had a lot of fun with your family in the early 1970s, when I got out of the USAF through the mid-1970s, when I graduated from university, I had many interesting and enjoyable conversations with your dad. Please accept my sincerest condolences on your loss.

We have many fond memories of Bob, and JoAnn. The Bier's home was forever open to anyone who stopped by. Bob always had time to listen, talk politics, share his family, and just be a real person. We will miss him dearly.

I really loved your dad. He was always cheerful and funny - just a wonderful man. I remember my mom and dad (Georgeann and Ken Bickhaus), and your mom and dad working at the Ice Cream Socials at Adams school - that was back in the '50's and 60's. I think they all enjoyed it. Your dad still remembered me even as I got older. I will certainly miss him. Sincerely, Pam Bickhaus Chilton
