Robert George "Bob" Maier

Robert George Maier, known affectionately as Bob, passed away on June 29, 2024, at the age of 75 in Mount Holly, New Jersey. Born on November 23, 1948, in Newark, New Jersey, Bob was the son of the late Albert and Patricia (Enos) Maier.

Bob graduated from Eastern University in Saint David's, PA, and proudly served in the United States Air Force, with a brief deployment to Vietnam. His career spanned many years, where he was most recently employed as a Gas & Electric Design Engineer at InfraSource and previously as a Lineman at PECO.

Bob was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Burlington, NJ. He was a loving, supportive, and hardworking man, known for his patience and great sense of humor. Bob was a skilled craftsman who took immense pride in his home and was meticulous with every project he undertook. His hobbies included boating, working with stained glass, and lovingly caring for his home and property.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Phyllis (Winner) Maier; daughters, Christine Tucker (Jason Tucker) and Patricia Maier (Keith Thomas); stepdaughters, Suzanne Lucas Pacera (Steve Pacera) and Jacquelyn Kish (Brian Kish); grandchildren, Aubrey, Matthew and Nathan Tucker, Jack and Leah Pacera, Amelia and Eli Wagner, and Johnny Kish; and sister, Margaret "Maggie" Maier. Bob's life was enriched by his beloved friend, Bill Nee.

A service to celebrate Bob's life will be held at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 145 W Broad Street, Burlington, NJ, on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 10:00 am, with burial to follow at the adjacent St. Mary's Cemetery.
