Robert Francis Pruner Jr.

PRUNER – Robert Francis Jr., 70, died March 13, 2009, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Savannah, Ga. He was born in Johnstown, son of the late Robert Francis Pruner Sr. and Mary Margaret Finn Pruner. He was a 1960 graduate of Georgetown University and worked many years for Pennsylvania Electric Co. He was a member of Knights of Columbus. Surviving are his daughters: Sharon Marie Krapf, York, S.C.; Linda Ann Pruner, Altoona; Alice Jane Beveridge, Altoona; and Mary Martha Kent, Savannah, Ga.; sister, Peggy Pruner Boehling, and her husband, Gerry, Richmond, Va.; grandchildren: Chandelle Marie Parham, Clover, S.C.; Brionne Leigh Krapf, Charleston, S.C.; Nicole Marie, Fayetteville, Ariz.; and Thomas Robert Gill and Sarah Jane Gill, both of Altoona; great-grandchildren, Natalie Marie Parham and Robert Dakota Parham, both of Clover, S.C.; and former wife, Mary Ann Pruner of Altoona. Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 20, 2009, at Cathedral of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, the Rev. Joseph Smith, celebrant. Graveside burial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. March 24, in Loretto.
