I was a Student at El Camino High School,Class of 1971. I wasn't so good @Math,but Mr. Rienecker helped Me be better at it. He was kind, but firm. It encourages Me that Mr.Rienecker was a Member of 1st Presbyterian of Burlingame. Lord willing,it means that I will Him in Heaven.

I have never forgotten Mr. Rienecker as a great teacher. One of the only "A's" that I received while at El Camino was in his general math class. Mr. Reinecker was a kind and caring teacher who made a positive impact in my freshman year at El Camino.

My sincere condolences to the Rienecker family.
I can count on one hand the great teachers I had through 12 years of public education and Mr. Rienecker was definitely at the top of the list. He was absolutely the best math and algebra teacher and found many ways to speak to each child. He truly had the gift and was a wonderful man. We were extremely lucky to have his tutelage and guidance.
Thank you Mr. Rienecker. RIP.

I was his worst student, but he never held that against me. He was a wonderful man and I always thought how neat it would be to have him as a father.

I've known Bob most of my life. He and my dad taught together and his daughter and I have been the closest of friends for the better part of our lives. Bob was a loyal friend. He loved people. He loved my dad. He could go on and on about him. I am certain that is how he felt about most people he knew. He would sing their praise to anyone who'd listen. It also didn't matter that I'd been at his house a million times, he still needed to give me the tour of whatever invention or diarama he was working on. "Do you have a minute, Carrie? Let me show you something." It was never a minute. More like 20. You couldn't just pop in and pop out at the Rienecker's house. It also didn't matter how many times he'd tell the same story. He's tell it to you again. And honestly, they were always worth another listen. I also knew Bob in the professional world. I was lucky to have him as my student teacher advisor. He swore he was going to retire after me. "You're the last one, Carrie." He was so supportive and proud that I was going to be a teacher. His whole being lit up when it came to education. We had such a great experience together. He ended up mentoring one teacher after me. That's Bob. He is never fully done with something. That's how life was for him too. The last months were not easy for him. He was a fighter. He did not ever want to give up. I honesty thought he'd somehow live forever, his spirit was that strong. I will miss him but he will never leave our hearts and our minds. RIP Bob. Thank you for being a part of my life.

I was also a student of Mr. Reinecker and he was definitely my favorite math teacher. I struggled through algebra but he constantly encouraged me to stick with it and spent after school time to help me one on one. I also remember that he was an inventor of toys and used to let us try them out. He was the best. RIP Mr. Reinecker. You touched so many lives.

Great Teacher and a Great person! He was my algebra teacher and when he scored my final he told me I owed him points but he gave me a D- just because I spelled my name right. Last time I saw him was at our school's 50th birthday.. RIP MR. Rienecker

A teacher that made a difference in my life.

He was my math teacher when I was at El Camino. I thought he taught at Alta Loma too; but, maybe I'm remembering it wrong. I do remember he made math fun; which means we all learned better in his class. Those of us who went to our 40th class reunion (class of 1967), had the pleasure of seeing him there, where he was so vibrant & friendly. It's sad to know that he has passed; but, because of him, many students grew up unafraid of math.

This Man was a Class Act A great Teacher The first math teacher to get me going. When I saw him 5 years after graduation he wanted to know if what he taught was relevant to my work life? It was and I had the chance to thank him He blushed and his Wife smiled. The Best Teacher Ever
