ST.JEAN, Robert "Bob" With dignity and much courage, at Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre, on October 17, 2008, at the age of 80 years. Loving and devoted husband of Mona Banville), for 60 years. Proud father of, and wonderful role model to, Susan (Mark Chinkiwsky), Debra (Keith Runtz), Bob (Lesley MacDuff) and Lisa (Scott Mellan). Adoring Poppa of twelve grandchildren and Grand-Poppa of two great-grandchildren. Dearest brother of Rochelle (Mike Ayoub). Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Aurore (nee Roy), his sisters Aurore, Bertha, Yvette, Beatrice and brother Leo. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. Longtime employee (43 years) of Galla Bakery/Morrison Lamothe/Canada Bread. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Palliative Care Unit for their excellent care and compassion. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 2313 Carling Avenue (west of Carlingwood), Thursday October 23, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service in Memory of Mr. St. Jean will be held in the chapel Friday October 24, at 11 a.m. In Memoriam donations to the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre appreciated.

Dear Aunt Mona, Susan,Deb, Bob, Lisa and all family members,
I was so saddened to hear of "Uncle" Bob's passing. I have to tell you of a touching incident at Rocky and Mike's 50th anniversary last year. Uncle Bob made a special point of speaking to me and giving me a heartfelt hug when learning about the passing of my own mother just months before. He truly made a connection with me and I will love him forever for that moment. Michael has many fond memories of Uncle Bob (and all his cousins) with his boundless energy and love for life and family.
