VOSEL ROBERT "BOB"
Age 75, of Bridgeville, died Friday, July 24, 2015, surrounded by his family. He was born in Canonsburg on August 26, 1939, the beloved son of the late William Vosel, Sr. and Elizabeth Pantner Vosel. He graduated from Bridgeville High School in 1957 and then served in the National Guard in Fort Bliss, Texas. He retired from Teledyne Columbia-Summerill, where he started as a Yard Foreman and retired as a Shipping Supervisor. He was also a great bartender at the Martinique. Bob had many friends and was an avid golfer. He enjoyed watching the Steelers and Pirates games and had an amazing mind for remembering historical events and trivia. He was a regular at Tambellini's and those who knew him well loved his crazy, uninhibited sense of humor. He was a friend to everyone he met and will be remembered for his singing outbursts and his storytelling. He is survived by his sister- in-law, Mary Ann Vosel, of Canonsburg; his niece, Laura Reynolds and husband, Jim, of Canonsburg; nephews, Steve Vosel of Houston, PA and Dan Vosel and wife, Shannon, of Cincinnati, OH; and 90 great- nieces and nephews. Deceased is his beloved brother, William "Bill" Vosel, Jr. Friends received on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the WARCHOL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, (412-221-3333), followed by a Blessing Service at 8 p.m. Interment will be private.
