Ronald Peterson Obituary
Ronald C. Peterson, age 72, Neenah, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Theda Clark Medical Center on Saturday, June 21, 2014, following a courageous battle with many health issues. He was born April 21, 1942, son of the late William and Hazel (Dumbleton) Peterson. On July 1, 1967, he was united in marriage to Constance Taves at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Menasha. Ron served his country in the United States Army. He retired from Gilbert Paper Co. after 40 years of service. Ron greatly enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
Ron is survived by his wife, Connie; his children: Glenn Peterson, Neenah, and Christopher Peterson, Neenah; grandchildren: Trace Peterson, Neenah, and Aviana Peterson, Marinette. He is further survived by his sisters: Carol Thede, Eleanor (Norman) Kraus and Mary Beck; brothers and sisters-in-law: Kathleen (David) Harrer, Nancy (Jon) Freund and Gregory Taves; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: James and Eugene Peterson, and an infant sister, Grace Elaine.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, June 26, 2014, at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial Street, Neenah, with Joan Bartman officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. We sure had some great times at Gilbert Paper, my late husband William (Bill) worked with him also..His smile, laughter & dry since of humor made it a better place to be.

Fond Uncle Ronnie memory at the house on Water Street....Friday night pancake supper at Grandpa's, Mom cooking etc. Ronnie would get home from work and shower etc. in the bathroom off the kitchen. It was fun watching him shave & he'd put oil in his hair & comb it so a little bump would be in the front. Then he'd hop in his car and go pick you up for a date. You two were so cool! Love you always, your Niece Ann.
