Ron and Babs were our greatest neighbors and friends from the time we became original owners in the New Holiday Park subdivision in 1971. We shared so many good times: family dinners, birthdays in the park, graduations in the backyards, weddings, church gatherings, etc. while watching our kids grow up and move away. And, yes...like clock work...I knew when Ron would be pulling in the driveway, having his dinner, and out in the garage he´d go!

When Ron and Babs moved away, I was in disbelief! To this day, that house across the street was "Babs´ and Ron´s". We´ve really missed him (both of them) all these years they´ve been enjoying their lives and travelling. And now, we will miss him even more...but at least we know he is in peace and we will see him again in Paradise! Rest in God´s Place our friend!

The best neighbor we ever had... When he knew my wife was working, he would wait outside until he saw she was hom. A wonderful man..

I think of him every time I look across the street and see his Rose-of-Sharon bushes.

Ray & Kathy Wick
we loved Ron very much as a friend and as a rather quiet fellow always willing to help others and never complaining about anything. I remember many occasions when Ron was the first to step in to help out others. One being when I needed help in placing the cross I had built for Holiday Nazarene Church on the wall. Ron was there bright and early to help secure it to the wall. Ron also offered to do some welding for me one day when I needed my rake welded. I did not know at the time I called him that he had other plans, but he said, 'come over' and after he welded the rake, I found out that he was supposed to be somewhere else and stayed just to help me out. By the way, the rake is still working fine some 30 years later. He was so gracious in his help and support of others, that I know he will be blessed in Heaven.

We moved into our 2nd home in June 2000 in Monroe, WA. We knew right away how extremely blessed we were to have Ron & Babs right next door. Ron loved working with wood and I could always find him in the garage.
My favorite memory of Ron how he would step out of the garage and say "Yes, did you call me?" whenever he overheard me exclaim "Oh my God!".
I thought the saddest day was when he and Babs drove off, heading back to Albuquerque. No, the saddest day was when I heard of his passing.
I know that he is no longer in pain, and Heaven is gaining an angel. But it´s still hard knowing that we will not see him for a while.
Ron, you are forever loved here on Earth.
