Age 70, of Scott Twp., on Sunday April 22, 2012. Beloved husband of Carole M. Otto Stein; loving father of Ronald L. (Molly) Stein, Jr., and Wayne R. (Kim) Stein; brother of Marty and Clyde Stein, Beverly Altman, Linda Zbel, and the late Jack Stein; also survived by two grandchildren, Ashley and Austin Stein. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at HENNEY, BRADWELL, AND NIRELLA FUNERAL HOME, 524 Washington Ave., Carnegie. Funeral Service will be held Thursday 11 a.m. in St. John Lutheran Church, Carnegie. Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to Carnegie Meals On Wheels, 601 Washington Rd., Carnegie, PA 15106.

I believe Ronald was the only Scott football player to always have a smile on his face. The sport will sure miss such a Hines Ward outlook.

I remember Ron from the younger days, went to Scott High. Really nice guy, very friendly. I went to school with Jack, sorry to hear he's gone.
