Rose Stilwell Obituary
Rose Ann was a homemaker, and accomplished in several artistic endeavors including being a florist and interior decorator. She was President of the Raleigh Garden Club and an active member of the Raleigh Woman's Club.
Rose Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, George Raymond "Ray" Stilwell Jr. She is survived by her children, David Stilwell of NY, Anne Shehdan and husband, David, granddaughter, Grace Shehdan, and John Stilwell and fiancée, Maureen Wille; and sister-in-law, Lois Stilwell.
A memorial service will be held 3pm Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Hope Evangelical Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Donations in her memory can be made to Hope EPC, 4911 Green Road, Raleigh, NC 27616.

I enjoyed getting to know, and work with Rose Ann in the Raleigh Garden Club and in the Woman's Club of Raleigh. I especially appreciated her flower arranging talent.

Dear Anne, David and Grace,
Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with each of you in this difficult time. A Mother's love and life, is like no other. Losing that dearest and purest love in our lives is one of the greatest losses. Claude and I know your sorrow so very well, but we also know that God goes with you and your Mom is resting in her Eternal Peace.
God Be With You as you remember those wonderful times and treasures. That will sustain you!
