Rosemary Asbury Bilyeu, 95 of Indianapolis, passed away on July 24, 2022. She was born on December 06, 1926 in Anderson, Indiana, to the late Ellis Franklin and Alta (Hedger) Asbury. She married her beloved Delford Doyle Bilyeu on June 14, 1947 in Anderson.

During World War II, Rosemary trained with the Ball Memorial Cadet Nursing program and assisted Dr. Seth Ellis in his Anderson medical practice for several years. Later she worked with the Madison County Planning Commission . She was a talented homemaker and was famous among family and friends for her delicious yeast rolls. Rosemary loved bird-watching and traveling around the country with her husband in their RV. She was also an avid bridge and dominoes player, and shared her joy of the games by coordinating weekly matches with residents of Hawthorn Hall and the Hoosier Village Health Center. She was a devoted member of the Thrasher Memorial United Methodist Church in Vinton, Virginia and was active in its Women's Circle until moving to Hoosier Village two years ago.

Survivors include her daughters, Susan Bilyeu Crisler (John) of Rio Rancho, N.M., Carol Bilyeu Foxworthy (Clayton) of Plainfield, Lora Bilyeu Wilkinson (Dale) of Roanoke, VA.; siblings, William Asbury (Judy) of Zionsville, Dianna Hurst of Fishers, Cindy Asbury of Carmel; grandchildren, Anne Bilyeu Crisler Cromer (Mason), Timothy John Crisler, Matthew Bilyeu Foxworthy, Rachel Leigh Foxworthy Cox (Jeremiah), Elizabeth Bilyeu Wilkinson Henion (Tim), Emma Jane Wilkinson (Brian Hourican), Seth Ellis Wilkinson; great grandchildren, Antoinette Lilian Cromer, Olivia Bilyeu Foxworthy, Landon Lenlee Cox, Kellen Beylee Cox, and Abel Hatch Henion. What a loss to all of us and certainly to you. Your dear mom wrapped us in her spirit and held us all close. Always a smile. May your memories be like mine... filled with joy!

Rosemary was a delightful woman with a quick laugh and a deep love for her family. She appreciated her dear daughters for their loving care over these past few years. She will be missed by many family members and friends. Now she is at peace with her adoring husband DD.
