PEORIA - Rosemary V. Grant, 79, of Bellevue, Neb., formerly of Peoria, died at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006, at Midland Hospital in Papillion, Neb.
She was born on Jan. 7, 1927, in Peoria, Ill., to Gurney Martin and Bertha Purdum Goble. She married W. Scott Grant on Nov. 16, 1946, in Peoria, Ill. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, John Grant of Bellevue, Neb.; one brother, Dick Goble of Peoria; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Bill Grant; two brothers; and one sister.
Rosemary was a bookkeeper for Reliance Battery Manufacturing in Nebraska for over 30 years. This was a family business that she was very proud of.
She was also a member of the Eastern Star.
Services will be on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, at noon at The Wilton Mortuary. The Rev. Craig Hislope will officiate.
Visitation will be two hours prior to services at the mortuary.
Burial will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens after services.
Memorials can be made to the donor's choice.
